Organised? Who, Me??

As I have mentioned before on this blog I am challenged when it comes to being organized.
It just never seems to happen.  Especially in the sewing/crafting space.  My excuse has always been I need MESS to create.  Lately I have been looking at the blog called “Blissfully Organized” and dreaming of being just that.
The mess and confusion was actually starting to get to me, so when my dear, organized friend Shirley had listened long enough to my moaning she decided I needed help.

There is still more to do but she has put me on the right track now and all I have to do is be a good little girl and put everything back in it’s place  (hard part).
Thank you Shirley and I think you have missed your vocation.  You should be a professional organizer.   Mwah to you, Shirley Red lips

I think Shirley needs to come to my house! She did a fabulous job. Yes, the hard part, remembering to put things away.

Wow, wow, wow, I am giggling!!!
The photos are really so funny: before and after. I only hope that you will find your things again because in chaos there is usually no problem for a quilter to find the smallest bits of what so ever

Honestly, Dianne, this is just a great post. I am seriously, make that SERIOUSLY challenged with organizational skills myself. What would the fee be I wonder to have Shirley brought out here to 'help' me too. I can really relate to the 'before' shots, but have to admit to loving the 'after' shots. Seeing the other comments is a giggle too. Great post Dianne, nothing like taking the mickey out of yourself.

Sounds like Shirley is in hot demand !!! and many of us can identify with your before pics.
I seem to have been in a permanent reorganise mode for the past 2 years since we moved into this house.

Hi everyone, the reason it worked was that Di is a very obedient girl and when I said "toss" she "tossed"....either into the bin box or charity....and Di I will be looking for those boxes when I come again to make sure nothing has been put back.

Di - I have been setting up my sewing studio (Yay!!) and feel like your before photo. I know being organised will be worth it! I know as I am emptying boxes into the wardrobe I am finding things I had forgotton I had.

There is nothing more satisfying that walking out of a room that is 'just so' it is just as satisfying to walk back in the next morning and know you have the space to begin a project.
