A Glimpse of Royalty

It was but a glimpse, a flashing smile and he was gone.
Prince William visited Toowoomba yesterday and we were able to just go down the road to see him passing by.
The Royal Watchers.
The Royal Watchers
Lily royal watching
“Now, where is that dashing Prince William?”
Prince William motorcade
Here he comes!!
Prince Williams Car
He’s in the white car behind the blue one.
Prince gone
And he’s gone……
My sister is clutching her Diana tartan scarf and watching wistfully as the car disappears out of sight.
Call us tragic, but it was such a thrill -  and we swear he looked straight at us and gave us one of his radiant smiles.Smile

Great that you at least got a glimpse of the royal visitor. At one stage our rugby fanatics were trying to have him visit Condamine.........yeah, sure!! Thanks for always giving great support with my blog, and keeping me up to date with 'friends'....

Hello Di, How very exciting to have Prince William visit you all. And it looked like such a lovely day for his visit. Prince William is such a gentleman and I am sure Princess Di would surely love and admire how her son has grown up and become such a respected man. I loved Princess Di and still do. Hugs Judy

So this is what you were doing while I was away.....I am so jealous but had a similar experience with his mother Princess Di during one of her visits. He has her lovely smile, and manner.
